Purchasing 2010 gl 450- service questions
Hi everyone,
I have been reading through your threads and have got a lot of question s answered, so thank you. I do have a few more though and was hoping you all can answer for me.
1. What does a typical cost for service run you yearly? What should I expect to budget for regular maintenance.
2. We are negotiating now for a2010 with 33k. What seems like reasonable price for that year and miles. Is there anything I should know abuot etc?
3. Thoughts on extended warranty?

1. We are planning to drive 10k a year at the most. (so I have been told i will need one routine service a year? but what is the average the cost for services?
2. Yes, CPO.

Purchase as much extended warranty as you can afford. what you don't use while owning the car, will make it more salable to the next purchaser.
Two similar cars, I would always purchase the car with Warranty.....

I bought a platinum 7/100,000 additional protection which began when the car was three years old. My 550 is a business vehicle so I didn't mind shelling out the money. Obama is paying for part of it. Warranty expires Nov of 2017 or 120,000 miles.

2015 Ram 2500, former 2013 GL350, 2007 GL450
I bought a 100,000, 5 year warranty when I bought my 2007. I paid $2500 for it with a $200 deductible. That was 5 years ago, so seems like a pretty decent deal.
There is a guy on this forum who offers extended warranties, he might be able to tell you better on current prices.

Don't read this while driving! First the good part. 0 deductible if repaired at the selling dealer. $9424.00 minus the original extended warranty that began the day I purchased the car. Original was $4720.00 for 5/yr 100,000/mi but it began at the in service date.New warranty was an additional $4604. This is on a 550.
