2008 GL 320 CDI
2008 GL320 CDI for sale
I have a 2008 GL320 CDI with close to 70K miles for sale. I have it advertised in Auto Trader but haven't had much interest. I currently have the price at $31,850 which I think is fair because it is in excellent condition, has 20" Tyndaride wheels (new last year) and Yokohama Prada tires. Also has new brake pads and steering rack repair done in Jan. this year. You can see it on Auto Trader, do a search 25 miles from 93460.
Any interest?

a bit. but not high enough to discourage lower offers i would say.
that truck wholesale is 26-27k. private party is 28-29k or thereabouts. dealer retail is 30-31k.
if price is so so and there are no bites it is usually color/ options... especially for a diesel gl which is always in demand.

I like the color too - especially since it is exactly like mine!
You don't say much about the options; keyless go?, 3 zone AC?, voice command?, satellite radio?, bluetooth puck?, rear entertainment system?, leather?, all four regular seats heated?, etc. Is an extended warranty available? [if so, that alone make it much more salable at the asking price]

Thanks to all for your input, I didn't realize the color would make such a difference, after all, I like the color. I really like the truck, but I purchased a new BMW 535 GT XDrive (I know, I'm a traitor, sorry) since I didn't need an SUV anymore. I somewhat regret my decision now since the truck is better now than when I purchased it with 30K miles and although the BMW is nice, I still like the Mercedes. The 20" wheels really make a difference in the handling and doesn't affect the ride quality. It used to be somewhat clumsy feeling.
Additionally, the replacement of the steering rack control head due to leaks has dramatically improved the directional stability. It always pulled a little to the right and even after a couple of alignment checks, it stilled pulled to the right. I just figured that was the nature of the beast. But after the control head replacement, it tracks as straight as an arrow.
The ad on Auto Trader has a picture of the window sticker and options. It pretty much has everything (Premium 1 package) except rear entertainment. (Includes Ipod kit, hitch, running boards, keyless go, sat, full leather, etc.) I have know idea if an extended warranty would be available.
Again thanks to all on this forum for your help through the years, the threads have been a great help in keeping the GL in top form!

Out Of Control!!
You can get decent extended warranties for between $3000 and $6000 as long as it has less than 100K miles. (Not cheap, but probably worth it)
