*** Pics of my GL500 customized my way ***

Hi guys, I am relatively new here (and my first Benz) and thought I would share a few pics of my new to me GL500 after some mods and cosmetic changes. Schatz chrome accents added externally and through interior, AMG pedal set, Matching MB billet Heel pad, OE Tuning flash, some new 22" shoes and a few other changes including the removal of the rear badges. Big thanks to Jeremy at OE Tuning for a kick a$$ flash as the 5.5 has come alive

...thanks for the comments on my ride. Ide say stop thinking about the OE Tune and pull the trigger. The difference is amazing. Even out on the highway my fuel economy was down to 11.4l/100. Around town it hovers between 15-20 depending on how its driven . I am very happy with the results so far and Jeremy from OE Tuning was great to deal with and answered all my questions with great advice. Highly recommend them speaking now from experience.

...thanks mate, appreciate the feedback as it might not be everyone's cup of tea but I like it so far. A few more changes to be made and ill post pics up when they have been completed. Ive always loved my chrome contrast against black coachwork.

looks good, and the photos are not bad, either. My GL is the family truckster, so it does not get washed often or fussed over, but this may change once the new 166 AMG models appear on the used car market at 60% their original value. I could see adopting one and bonding with it a little more.

Sean's Sister--
I'm sorry but that looks awful... all those chrome pieces reminds me of the ghetto folks at pepboys. Wheels are the decent exterior mods...to each his own.

...cheers and your right, to each his own. Like it or hate it, I like it and that's what matters, just sharing.
