Mercedes GL450, 2007 putting on 4 jack stands
I am wondering if someone can point to the rear center jacking point for the Mercedes GL450, 2007.
Previously, I used the front side central jacking point which I gave me ability to lift the front side of the car. I was able to put the car on the two jack stands this way.
Now, I need to put the car on 4 jack stands but I cannot find the central jacking point at the rear which will allow me to lift the car from the rear enabling me to put jack stands under the rear side jack points.
I am hoping to put the car on 4 jack stands starting from two front jack points first and then lift the car from the rear and put other two jack stand under the rear jack points. Not sure if it is safe.
Anyway, I cannot located a good place at the rear. Can anyone point me out to it? Thank you in advance.

hitch is designed to support some weight of the trailer. And I did not know that lifting a rear of the truck lift the entire truck. I though it was only the rear of the truck, like less than 50% of the weight.

Out Of Control!!
Still a lot of weight.
I would guess that it would probably be OK, since you are lifting a dead load and the hitch is also designed to take live loads including the torsional stress of a WDH.
I would watch for any movement between the hitch receiver and the body as a check.
Where is the front jacking point?
Maybe you put the back up one side at a time and then use the front central lifting point to get the front on stands?

I wouldn't hesitate to life from the hitch; it's solid-mounted to the chassis. On my BMW race car I jack the rear diff because it's solid-mounted to the subframe which is solid mounted to the chassis. Been doing that 10 years (and it gets lifted 5-10 times a race weekend) with no issues.
I am curious about the front lifting point as well.

Sal335, the front lifting point point you can find under the engine. It is easy to locate. It is just in the middle. I used that point few times. I don't worry about lifting from the front. I assume if MB made that point then they probably made something similar at the end.
