GL350 Tire - Warm weather question
Which tires do you recommend for 2011 GL350? My cousin is buying this from me and wants me to put new tires..
She will always drive this in Phoenix, AZ (city/highway only)... so no snow, etc.

anybody using toyo proxes ST2 on their GL?
I have them on my ML for 3 years, and have been happy with them. lost of tread left after about 70,000 KM.
Quiet, never had problem with traction, although driving in heavy truck-rutted highway in heavy rain yesterday, was hydroplaning until I moved 6" over. The ruts were like 12" wide rivers.
Just bought a 2011 GL350 Bluetec, which came with winters on 20s, so need to get summer tires too. Appreciate any other suggestions.

My 2010 GL350 came wth 275/50R20 Goodyear Eagle LS MOE Run-on flats. After the original set wore down to the bars, I went with 275/55R20 because buying another set of run-on flats was priced at $400/tire, going with the 55 series tire saved me $250/tire. I used the extra money to buy a spare rim and tire and still saved $600.

Sam's club El Monte CA has the LS on sale for $150-160/tire
Ebay has the older 2007-2010 compact spare for sale.
