Sounds nice - I'd really like to see some pics of the palladium and auburn brown together as we have that same combo on order. You will have one of the very first 2014s out there.

'14 GL450 delivered in Dec 2013. BMW '12 Z4 35i
My '13 GL 450 didn't arrive yet at dealer lot. It had been in VPC since July 2nd and in this Wednesday it was realsed to carrier (so sitting in VPC more than 3 weeks) and I expect it to be in dealer lot within next 10days. Fab searched NetStar for the status of my '13 GL. Big thanks to Fab !!!
How much is the MSRP? the price for '14 GL is announced?
Hmmm.

The car is incredible. It does have the heated/cooled cupholders. They also seem to have moved the Power Easy Entry to a separate option and put the harman/kardon in the P01 package. I had ordered P01 and harman/kardon on mine. I got both they are just listed differently on the sticker. The price increase was pretty good for MB it is now $64,550 for the GL450. I am attaching my window sticker so you can see the prices of all the options. My dealer thinks I am the first in my state to get one and one of the first in the country. The GM couldn't even believe they had it. I will try to post pics later today. I can tell you, if you can, definitely get the harman/kardon audio. I test drove one without it and it sounded pretty low end the H/K in this car sounds really good. Also, the Palladium/Auburn is a great combination. I bought the 20" wheels and tires separately because adding the Appearance pkg would have delayed my order. Definitely was not cheap but the grey on the wheels matches the paint perfectly and really ties it all together.

You're right. I didn't even see that. I did notice that they reduced the price of the P01 package when they removed the easy entry. When I ordered I think it was $4,070. I hope I didn't pay for H/K twice . I don't think I did though since it wasn't part of P01 when I ordered.

because they haven't updated the GL build page for 2014. all the prices and colors you see are for MY2013.

@finalwish, I do have the easy entry. I don't have children so the headrest isn't really an issue for me. I would say that I don't think giving this up for the ease of using a child seat would be a big deal. Since it is only automatic when it folds up and you still have to manually push it down and set the backrest angle. If it did both automatically like the third row then I think it would be a bigger loss. So if child seats are an issue you can take that off and I think you will probably be happier.

Active Curve System is a MUST have
I want to echo what some others have said on the forum about ACS. The Active Curve System with Adaptive Damping System is one of the best options on this car. I took it out on some curvy country roads to see how it felt. It was like the car was riding on rails. Very level and very easy to control as I went around curves. It felt as close to a sports car as any truck this size has a right to. It is a pricey option but for the increased confidence and improved handling it is worth it. I also have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee I know it's comparing apples and oranges , but I feel like the Jeep reaches its limits way before the GL does with ACS. I still cannot understand why hardly any of the GLs that aren't custom ordered have this option. Just wanted to put that out there.
