MB Nomenclature/Refresh Timeline Document
Hi. I posted this in another thread but wanted to give this document some more exposure and see if anyone has an opinion of how accurate it may be.
I know in Nov 2014 MB announced the naming convention change. This document is similar to the document that was floating around then, with the exception of the timeline in the lower right hand corner that shows the anticipated intro of the GLE, the GLC (currently the GLK) and also the GLS "refresh."
Anyone have a firm knowledge of:
If the GLS nomenclature will be introduced for 2016?
Will the 2016 model year also usher in the GL's mid life-cycle refresh?
This document seems to imply that refresh will not arrive until MY2017.

It's interesting that the timeline was added/pasted on top of the original. You can see in the lower right hand corner how it partially covered the page number. I'm not trying to imply anything devious, but it could indicate this is an update.
We generally get the order guide information in April for the next model year, so should know for sure in the next 60 days

My local dealer heard through the grapevine the mid-cycle refresh may not be released until the spring of 2016, but as a 2017 model (MY217).
But as eliontakis so aptly put it, "we'll know soon enough".
