X166 air filter replacement

Pardon my ignorance, but how does one replace the engine and cabin air filters on a 2014 GL350?

I replaced the external cabin air filter at 15,000 miles, and it looked brand new. After this, I am holding off on the internal cabin air filter until I get to 30,000 miles.

The engine air filter is something I plan to do fairly soon. Replacing it appears to be more difficult than the usual engine air filter. It involves removing the front hoses, loosening some bolts on the set up, releasing the latches that hold it to the center air intake, and then pulling the engine air filter out. There are 2, one for each side. I got a set of 2 new filters from Pelican parts. I'll try and take some pictures and describe it when I do it, which should be in 6 weeks or so.
