So someone opened their door into my GL and dented it real good. Whats the best way to fix this? Would prefer to avoid repainting and would love not to have to rip the door apart...

Based on your requirements it won't get fixed

It can't be hammered out ... A perfect repair means repaint too

A gaggle of MB's
I would have dealer recommend/or-setup a PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) guy - a good one can do wonders.. that's under $100... you may be pleasantly surprised with the result...if it doesn't get you all the way then its a panel repaint, I recommend using a Mercedes Certified shop if available in your area, because that way it's guaranteed to be to your satisfaction..

I have had several dents fixed by PDR. I've had one bigger than that on my old GL and he made it look like it never happened. Good thing is that you don't seem to have any paint loss, so PDR would do just fine. Because it is on a crease, they will charge more. The last one I paid for was on the body crease like that and I was charged 280, but it was worth it. Couldn't tell that it ever happened.

Careless and inconsiderate people! I hate hate hate door dings!
Yes, PDR is the way to go. Is that diamond white/designo diamond white? If so, I've heard it's very difficult to match this particular color paint due to its "more than usual multiple layers" of coating. Once had hail damage; 30+ dents on the hood of my SUV. After they were done with it, my hood looked brand new. The good ones can get your dent fixed no prob.
