Should I get a GLA 45 AMG 4matic

So many differing opinions on this forum. Is it poorly built? Where is is builtvor assembled? Is the interior noisy from the motor? Are as many have stated transmission issues? If so which transmission triptronic? Seems the depreciate quickly some 15's that were 59 to 63000 now a year ish later 47/48000? Jalopnik gave the interior a 6 said it was all plastic? Looking to replace O7 X3 M sport edition don't need the room of an X3 again?

Depends on what you're looking for. The GLA and GLA45 AMG are not like the more traditional idea of MB's highway cruisers. These cars a lot more fun to drive, but with that is more road noise and a less posh interior. The E and S class drivers will complain that the GLA is not an E or S class.
I suggest you take a test drive and find out for yourself.

If you like it yes...
The 2016 has uprated output and most importantly improved transmission both in te ratio's and the software. makes a massive difference to the gen 1's..

Also has the adjustable dampers and switchable exhaust.. amopngst some other things..

Most of all save a few grand and spend it on tuning.. an ECU (eg willal) uprated intercoler (eg turbo kits) and air intake from mishimoto make these things bonkers...
If you pick some subdued colors and no aero kits they are a very discreet weapn..

is the dash a little dated, yep, are the interior materials a little budget? sure... tweaks can be made here too.. for very little..

Personally if i didn't need th extra room i'd have one, or more likely the A45... ironicaly the GLA45 rides better in the real world and feels more planted and chuckable..
On the track or roads in great shape the A45 would likely be the better option...

Just don't be annoyed when in 2-3 years time a new interior for the A.CLA, GLA and CLA shooting brake comes out ans makes the current look even more dated..

GLA45 AMG
I wish I could recommend it, but I can't.

See my post to explain why:

Yes it is noisy but not from the engine, its road noise.
Yes it is is made with too much creaking and rattling plastic.
Yes it has problems.
Yes the dealerships are horrible at service.
Yes it handles great, better than the big Benz cars.
Yes it is fast.
Is it worth it... maybe, sort of, mine worked today so yes.
Oh yeah, its fast.
