2016 Mercedes GLC350 4Matic
I am hearing the lease rates are horrendous and its cheaper to get a GLE on lease. Is that true?

I spoke with an Atlanta-based dealer this weekend who just received their first GLCs. Salesperson said no money down, well-equipped (47-48k) looking at probably around 650-700/month for a lease. Said that could be a couple hundred bucks cheaper next year, for instance, during their Summer Event.

Either way it is nothing you can do so what difference does it make what the reason is?

There are no lease deals unfortunately. Model is way too new. I agree, six months from now will be much better. I leased a 63k e350 for 635 / month two years ago no cap cost down payment. A 57k glc was quoted 740/ month (priced reduced to invoice of 53.5). So a 5k MSRP cheaper car at $100 more per month.

A gaggle of MB's
Well... Mercedes included the GLC on the 5-month loyalty accelerator for those existing Mercedes lease/purcahse customers that want to pull ahead.. and frankly MF for the GLC is about the same MF as for lower priced CLA's/GLA's .. so I would say select 1st adopters have decent opportunity.. my daughter picks up her GLC tmrw moving from her 2015 E-Class, picking up $3K in payment credit early .. GLC what she wanted - P1, Pano, Surround-View/Parking Assist, upgraded Headlights, Heated Seats - what she wanted in her GLC was MSRP $46.5K.. ce la vie... she's fine...

Yes, the 5 month lease ahead deal is what really swayed us to the GLC. Not only did MBUSA take on 5 payments, but our dealer ate the remaining two on top of a very nice discount on the car, window tinting, and all season mats.

But, MBUSA added GLC to the Winter Sales specials as of this morning....

Dearest M,

IF, for example, park assist is causing the delay in my car being built, and I'm ok living without park assist, THEN I will buy a car the dealer has in stock today.

Buy a car today vs waiting two months or more.

Do you understand that course of action I've described or should i re-word it yet again? As a precaution, I've begun drafting another post using story boards and animation in case you still don't follow me

I agree and would like to know, just in case some options are delayed and could be holding GLC's up.

Well this is good news! My GLC which comes in today is MSRP $54K, invoice probably around $50K. Looks like the GLC is running $60 higher per month than the C class so can try and figure out comparable figures.

Yeah this is a pretty questionable special...roll that cap cost in and without tax/title/tag you're already at $578/mo on a $38k base model. C-class discount challenge thread is a good comparison point:

Dearest E,

That isn't what this thread was about to begin with but sure I get what you're saying. The problem is that no one here knows anything, it's nothing but a hotbed for misinformation and confusion. Why not ask the dealership and get the facts right? Do you not get that?

Sorry you feel that way, but hey if you want to wallow in confusion and misinformation then go for it.
