The order stated matte pine trim or aluminum trim...the guess was that it would be the aluminum trim however the salesman said to put in the matte pine and see what happened.

Thanks for your info. Dealer said end of February's production should start with the wood trims. We will see.

Dealer info is often sketchy. If wood interior production is to start at end of Feb, why do we have SoCal dealers with a few wood trim units today. A wood trim unit just unloaded at port two days ago headed for customer in Colorado.

The GLK product release is sketchy. A different bucket of parts for Canada and USA and both buckets do not match marketing promo info.

This does not rep MB well.

Wood was available only in U.S for launch according to my dealership. Not available in Canada until a later time. I wish it were available because I prefer the wood the aluminum.

hi there, I got decent deal on mine. I checked out 4 MB dealers in the GTA and most were not that helpful in discounts. The best deal I have seen is Steve at MB Oakville.

How do you like yours so far? I was at the Mercedes dealer in Mississauga and looked at the GLK. How has it been in the snow? I am really interested on your impressions of this vehicle, as well as your dealing at the Oakville dealership versus the on in Mississauga.

The dealers always claim that it's a HOT car for whatever model that just got released and there is a "waiting list". Or at least that's what the dealer in Bellevue always says.

Well, to be frank, my wife wants the keyless go option, so I haven't taken delivery since the first batch with keyless go option is June production, but I have test driven the vehcile 4 times. Twice happened to be on the day is was snowing, and was impressed by the way it handled. In regards to the dealings, Mississauga MB were not helpful in terms of neg. anything of the price. The best I was getting 1K. MB Kitchner was worst of all. At oakville, I know they are give up to 2K, and with the 500 coupon for clothing it adds in. Send me a PM, and i'll let you know on who to talk to.

To be honest they had no clue on it, but when I told them I spoke with Mercedes Canada, they told me they would find out. Just got confirmation of it this week.

Options:
Sport Package
Premium 1
Multimedia

Was able to get the lease down to

$649/month - 39 months
$4000 down
12K miles.

They told me my MF was .00225, Residual on 10K is 54%, 12K 52%.

What do you think?

From these numbers how do I calculate my purchase price?

you must be on crack
I hope you didnt go with that lease
650 a month and 4000 down for a GLK? omg
you can lease a bmw M3, or a rangerover, or a ML350 for less

the GLK is the cheapest car MB makes in terms of price

wait a couple months for MB to have specials on this little car

i've always liked white/blk interior, but it seems like many car co's stopped doing this combo during the past 10-15 yrs. mostly i've been seeing white w/ brown/beige/gray etc....but rarely black. hope to see it return more.

I got a quote 777 a month no money down 39 month 15000 miles.
I think that is to high. For that car. my wife liked the car it was smaller then our ml350
but we do not need the room are kids are driving now. still to much money I think.

and the running boads are a pain in the ***, getting in and out of the car will be dirty in CT.

to those who have put down their deposit in Vancouver, BC (Canada)- any luck with any type of discounts? the one i have been dealing with has been adamant that no dicounts are "authorized" in BC- and I am at wit's end- I do want to go ahead but feel kinda jipped that discounts in London, Ontario and Ottawa, Ontario are in the 4 digit figures

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

carcostcanada.com wholesale prices available

I just received a note from them letting me know that the wholesale prices are available. Ran a simulation for what I am interested in - metalic paint and premium package - and the difference was almost $4,400... which explains why Canadian dealers are routinely giving $2000 or so discounts.

Test drove GLK yesterday in Ottawa through Import Auto Leasing:

Here's the quote given today:

3. 2010 Mercedes GLK350. Short supply. There is one that has landed in
Halifax (black) that is not spoken for yet. It has Premium Package, Sport
package, SIRIUS and trailer hitch. MSRP is $47254 plus freight/pdi of $1995,
admin fee of $349, $100 a/c tax and $47.85 lien registration fee, for a
total of $49745.85. Lease at $48241.85, for 4 years with 25,000kms per year
at 7.75%, $826.44 per month, taxes included. Residual $24,442.50. **Mercedes
program

Reduction is $1,504
Rate of 7.75% is MB's
Total Cost to borrow is $11,306

Anyone else leasing the GLK or did you guys purchase them?

Any feedback regarding these numbers would be appreciated.

The GLK quoted is not exactly what I'm looking but I don't mind waiting for the right one to be manufactured.

Let me know your thoughts.
Martin

P.S. Forgot to mention that Import Auto Leasing could lease it at a 4.49% interest rate, however, their residuals for this vehicle are lower, so it would come out the same. Surprise, surprise... A cost to borrow of 11K seems outrageous.

Just drove off the lot today with my GLK for $41,900 US with an MSRP of ~47500 US.

I dunno if the prices above are US or canadian, but if they are canadian, I feel ripped off.

Black w/ Black MB-Tex, multimedia, ipod interface, premium package, lighting package, appearance package, heated seats, running boards & CD changer. Email quotes are the best way to get it.

GLK 350 4matic
Canadian $

The above is canadian dollar, but exclude Taxes.

In Ontario Canada, after you have the price for the car, then you will have to pay:
Freight/PDI $1995, air excise Tax $100, Dealer admin $295, Gas tax $400, some dealer charge anti-theft register $300 and then 13% Province and federal tax. If you car price is $50,000, you will end up with $60,000.

How much you guys pay in US?
