Sun roof shades.
Would be nice to be able to open the windows for ventilation with the key without the shades opening. Kind of counterproductive to let the sun shine in when trying to cool down the car.

My preference would be to tilt the sunroof back edge up, allowing ventilation, & keep the sunscreen closed. Another car we had did this & found the feature useful.

Our Infinity does this and it is nice.
Of course, our Infiniti does lots of things I wish our GLK did...

And I imagine the GLK does a few things that Infiniti does not do. In our house or perhaps our garage, the GLK gives cause for the Mrs.to wear a smile which is priceless. Cost me a beautiful 9-5 Aero Sportwagon which she never liked but that is another story.

Well, no.
The G37 comes standard with push-button start, you don't have to hold the memory seat button down (actually, you don't even have to touch it; it's tied into the individual fobs so the seat and mirrors are ready when I open the door), that model has always come with full LEDs (my 2011 GLK has tungsten bulbs), if you hold the open button on the fob the windows roll down, it syncs effortlessly with our iPhones, the DRL settings stay put...
Don't get me wrong, I love my GLK but feature-wise the G37 kicks its butt.
It's also fast as stink...

Things do change.
When I was a youngun "Made In Japan" meant cheap, crappy knockoffs of American products. I remember gold colored pop guns that were made from inverted beer cans, sharp edges and all. You could read Budweiser or whatever inside the gun.

Seems Japan lost the war but won the peace...
