MB GLK 320 CDI -09
ALTERNATOR CHANGE MB GLK 320CDI 2009(2010/11 USA)

hello I´ve bought a used Glk 320 CDI (X204)with some issues-price 20000 us dollar with 70000 miles on the meter.

Except for one the tree main issues have been solved- the #generator/#alternator. I t broke down- strange with little milage but sometimes you are just unlucky.
Does anyone have experience with this?

at the biggest MB workshop in gothenburg they been at it for days-should a replacement not take a maximum of 6 hours( 2h should even be realistic for a skilled mechanic with all tools)? Please tell me if anybody knows about this.

Other issues- #PDC sensor 7 and 10 malfunktion- two red lights each side on the back bar. bought from eBay china 2 st for 30 us.. works spot on. can be changed in 10 minutes without jacking the car. other PCD are probably more complex to change but they are also better protected. 7/10 Left and Right reverse)

Third issue could interest quite a few. The #M55 inlet air damper motor. it brakes down because a leaking seal- parts cost maybe 300 dollars original.
But u have to remove the Turbine so its a pretty expensive deal-almost 2000 dollars.
(DIY to save) or not MB workshop. its not rocket science.
The m55 Short Circuit broke the fuse(do not know which, sorry) and about 10 other fault codes showed- and limp mode was engaged. u can safely drive but it lack a lot of power and u probably need to shift manually.

Please tell me if u have similar experiences..Regards Sweden
