Left Cornering Light Warning
I was driving today and the warning light came up on the dash just stating "Left Cornering Light" with a graphic of a bulb. I thought that this was a turn signal but I put on the signals and hazards and nothing looks amiss.
I turned off the car and back on again and it was gone but then showed up about 5 minutes later.
Any idea what this is? If there's a fix that I can do, that would be great as it's a huge pain to take it into the service center.
Thanks in advance!
My guess: The left cornering bulb is burned out.

So I went into the garage to check if I could figure out what the problem was. I still can't find this 'cornering light'!. I turned the wheel left and right but everything looks normal. I have OCD so I guess it's off to the service center to fix this problem I can't really find. It's also annoying because the service message keeps on showing up.

So maybe is the left fog lamp blown; turn on the fogs (the exterior light switch to be in position in accordance with your State Motor Vehicle Regulations) and note.
I'll report back here after I visit them.
On another note, I'm glad my squealing brake issue is gone now. It made my GLK sound like a bus. They said they cleaned the area and replaced some parts but it may come back again
Apparently this is a problem with many new recent Mercedes (including S-Class); the guy said that it has to do with some material that they use in Germany. Funny that my friends with BMW, Volkswagen, and Audi cars don't have the same problem. Not acceptable for a car this price (it's nearly $70,000 USD for a GLK 220-the only model available in Korea) but I'm glad the problem is gone for now. I don't know what else they did but the car seems to be driving much better now compared to before. Plus they gave a full wash inside and out and the waiting room is much nicer at Mercedes compared to domestic Korean service centers.
So while I was peeved at the wait, I left somewhat happy.
