Left Cornering Light Warning
I tried searching for this but nothing came up in the forums.
I was driving today and the warning light came up on the dash just stating "Left Cornering Light" with a graphic of a bulb. I thought that this was a turn signal but I put on the signals and hazards and nothing looks amiss.
I turned off the car and back on again and it was gone but then showed up about 5 minutes later.
Any idea what this is? If there's a fix that I can do, that would be great as it's a huge pain to take it into the service center.
Thanks in advance!

What I know is that when you turn the steering wheel left or right a small light activates on the front corner of your car, so if you turn left it activates for the left side and so on. I hope that helps. It always works if you start the signal this small bulb works. Try this at night in your garage to notice it.

Theoretically, in the U.S.A., the cornering lights are part of the premium Bi-Xenon lighting package. No clue about the rest of the world.
My guess: The left cornering bulb is burned out.

i had the exact warning on the dashboard, although the front fog light seems to work fine, went to the dealer, they said they had to change the cornering light because it is broken, and also it took them a while to figure out how to change it, they said it was the first case for a GLK where they had to replace that specific bulb.

Thanks all for the replies.
So I went into the garage to check if I could figure out what the problem was. I still can't find this 'cornering light'!. I turned the wheel left and right but everything looks normal. I have OCD so I guess it's off to the service center to fix this problem I can't really find. It's also annoying because the service message keeps on showing up.

The cornering light will only come on when it's dark and sometimes you have to be going at least a few miles per hour. It will also activate if the turn signal is on and dark, even when stationary.

So maybe is the left fog lamp blown; turn on the fogs (the exterior light switch to be in position in accordance with your State Motor Vehicle Regulations) and note.

I'm going to go to the service center tomorrow and have them fix the problem, even though I'm not sure what it is.
I'll report back here after I visit them.

So I went to go get it serviced and didn't get a chance to see what it was. They said that it will take an hour and a half to replace and also fix my squeaking brake at low speeds issue. They said that they replaced both cornering lights though. I waited more than 2 hours and needless to say, I wasn't happy at all and just wanted to get out of there. Plus I live in Seoul and wasn't really paying attention to/did not fully understand the service guy's jibberjabbering in Korean.
On another note, I'm glad my squealing brake issue is gone now. It made my GLK sound like a bus. They said they cleaned the area and replaced some parts but it may come back again Apparently this is a problem with many new recent Mercedes (including S-Class); the guy said that it has to do with some material that they use in Germany. Funny that my friends with BMW, Volkswagen, and Audi cars don't have the same problem.
Not acceptable for a car this price (it's nearly $70,000 USD for a GLK 220-the only model available in Korea) but I'm glad the problem is gone for now. I don't know what else they did but the car seems to be driving much better now compared to before. Plus they gave a full wash inside and out and the waiting room is much nicer at Mercedes compared to domestic Korean service centers.
So while I was peeved at the wait, I left somewhat happy.
