GLK 350 ENGINE START BUTTON
HELLO I WANT TO KNOW IF I NEED TO PROGRAM A ENGINE START BUTTON FOR A 2012 GLK 350. I BOUGHT THE BUTTON ON EBAY(THE BUTTON SUPPOSED FIT MY CAR THEY TOOK IT FROM A MB CAR) BUT WHEN I PUT IT ON THE ENGINE DIDN'T START, SO I WANT TO KNOW IF THAT BUTTON HAS TO BE CODED FOR MY CAR BECAUSE WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR DIDN'T HAVE IT. THANK YOU

A new/working button - but into the ignition - codes itself if you hit/start twice, sometimes takes three times - then its coded and all good.
If you got a bad eBay button - a new MB/new button "usually" is like $85
