I towed a U-Haul 5x8 Utility Trailer with my 250 yesterday and thought I'd share some pics for the people looking for the towing info. Obviously this wasn't a heavy load to test the max towing capacity but at least you can see how it is set up.
One of the forum member posted the picture towing a U-haul trailer with ball mount 3-1/8" rise but I couldn't find any rise style especially for the shank size 1-1/4" for our GLK at my local shops so instead, I bought 3-1/2" drop and installed flipped as it can be used both ways and used a 2" ball, both class II 3500 capacity. As you can see, trailer was pretty much levelled and once U-haul staff plugged in the wire, all the lights worked properly.
If you have never towed before like me, you definitely should practice backing up in an empty parking lot before you drive. That will help a lot.

Chrissk,
I like the tow bar setup you have, it seems to be more hidden than most. Can you tell me what you used?
Thanks in advance.
I'm not quite sure if you're referring to the hitch or the ball mount setup but it's a factory installed hitch.
My ball mount is Reese: 1-1/4 receiver size, 3-1/2 drop, 9.5" length, Class II 3500 lbs and the hitch ball is size 2", 3500 lbs.
Please note that you actually need a 'rise' style. Because I couldn't find the rise style, I just used 3-2/1" 'drop' and installed upside down but if you can find, it should be around 3" rise. For the mount length, as you can see my pics, 9.5" will give you more than enough clearance.
Hope this helps.
