Small scallop on the sidewall

This is a 2014 with the 20 inch amg wheels.

Does this mean new tire?

Just did, guy said if it's not leaking he wouldn't worry about it. Hmmm

I have a similar chip in my tire. Been like that for a few months now and have had zero issues with the tire.

I've got one as well. My brother is in tire sales, said not to worry about it.

No worries at all. I've also had cupping (when a steel belt breaks, so you get a half-golf-ball size cup on the outside), and it's not even an issue.

I have a similar chunk missing from my C300. The shop said no need to worry about it.

I guess I'm just paranoid with the family GLK, I could have got another 10k out of my tires but ended up replacing the set

Make sure you know how to use that little pump if you have one and also that you can remove the lug nuts. Many people I have helped in the last couple of years have come to find that some muscle bound service guy put on the lug nuts so they can't be removed with out an air impact driver. I've seen people twist their lug wrench into a cork screw.
Of course if you do your own brakes, you know you can get the lug nuts off.

Yeah but sometimes you do need a BFPB to remove the lug nuts.
