Acceleration jerks after repairing vacuum leaks, replacing fuel pump, coils/plugs
So I have a 2000 ml320 that we have put roughly 4600 in it the past 14 months. Has new water pump, crank sensor, fuel pump & fuel filter, coils, plugs& wires, front u joint, new battery, rotors tires..I say all that to say we've sunk a ton of money for a 20 year old car with 236k miles
I was rear-ended in July last year
Got sandwaiched between 2 cars no real damage we thought except cosmetic to bumper. 3 weeks later driving down the road car dies in middle of driving it. Had battery tested it was battery. After starting it up upon replacing battery the car started misfiring on 3 cylinders and getting egr code. That is when we had the coils, plugs and wires, fuel filter, fuel pump, and vaccum leak repaired. Everything is running fine. We have big snow 2 feet of snow with hard layers of ice on top and get stuck, dig around car for hours then get bas esp ets lights on but no issues. 2 months later we have two more issues car starts jerking when accelerating at random times and the water pump needs replacing bc spraying antifreeze and crank sensor.
Replaced water pump and crank sensor car still jerking when accelerating. mechanic said that should have fixed it.
2 weird things that may be related
A. With almost an 1/8 tank gas the low fuel light just came on the car refuses to start back up like it is completely out of fuel. Walked to store bought can and put a gallon of gas in and it starts right up.
B. A couple days ago after driving several hundred miles the car was parked and running, I'm in passenger seat and it has half a tank of fuel then starts choking like running out of gas for about 5/10 seconds then it Revs up all on its own and levels pit like nothing happened. No jerking the entire 500 mile trip except weird thing while parked.
Does this sound like wheel sensors from getting stuck in snow I read a lot of.people have had this happen. Or does it seem like the jerking is fuel related?

Your short story turned out to be a novel. Please list your problems individually.
1. the ESP light is on, correct? Is there any other light on?
2. what gas light? Do you mean the low fuel light?

I updated and tried to condense.
The CEL and the SRS has been on as long as I've had it.
Yes low fuel light
It jerks when accelerating and then when low fuel light was on but still had plenty of gas it started choking like it was running out then reved back up all on its own . Those are the only issues I'm having as of now after all the repairs.

Now tonight after driving it it jerked twice at beginning of trip about 400 miles later it just turned off after getting off the interstate on the way to top it off with fuel. I had between half and a quarter tank. Been trying to keep it above half a tank after weird running.out of gas issue when I know I had fuel several weeks ago. It died twice about 30 seconds a part and I'm sitting in a parking lot googling.
Any ideas besides get it scanned. Do you think the fuel pump we replaced could be bad? Any ideas at all?

It won't start at all now just like what it did twice before the crankshaft sensor was replaced. It is cracking just won't turn over. We have been sitting about 18 hours now. Last time this happened we we able to start it the next day and it ran fine with exception of the occasional jerking
