2005 ML500 front windshield wiper washer pump

The front windshield wiper washer is not squirting out fluid. Wipers work so fuse is ok. Rear hatch washer works fine.

There are 2 washer pumps on the windshield washer reservoir left side, does anyone know which one is for the front windshield?

Here is the location. Have someone operate the washer while you feel the motor. If it operates then the line or the sprayer nozzles are clogged.

If not, the pump is faulty.

I just bought a ML500 that needs minor TLC for the winter. I don't hear the pump so probably not clotted. To determine which pump, I will disconnect one and test the rear hatch windshield washer that works. If works, that's the one ... brain getting a little fatigue

I just provided you with the location of the front pump. Why go through your process?

I know where the pumps are but there are 2 of them and have to determine which is for the front windshield. Home alone for the long weekend so have to go through the process.

Pumps are easily removed but the way hosed is attached to the inner one might take a little work. Want to avoid and only replaced the correct one.

In a piece of design genius, they made the front pump wash the front windshield.

(ML500 has a third pump mounted to the front left of the other 2, which is for headlamp washers.)

Not all. My ML500 doesn't have that option.
