2005 ML500 Battery Dies after 2-3 days
I have a 2005 ML500 and after 2 to 3 days, the battery is dead. I have a new Interstate battery, CCA 720, CA 900, RC 176. When I put a multimeter inline with the battery cables, I only see a draw of 0.29 amps. If I check the volts on the battery, every hour, seems to lose about 0.02 volts per hour.
Thanks

Since there are two fuse boxes to check, follow the steps below. But first close all doors and make sure that no lights remain on. Then...............
1. remove the key from the ignition.
2. open hood.
3. open right front door and with a screwdriver throw the latch to simulate the door being closed. Wait to see that the overhead lights go out. Wait 20 mins. before proceeding so that all the modules "go to sleep".
4. then go to the underhood fuse/relay box and follow the directions in the video. Make note of which fuse does not pass the test.
5. then do the same for the right side kick panel fuse box.
Post back with what fuse/s # is faulty.
Remember to pull the outside handle on the door before you close it.
