OIL HIGH warning flashing
OIL HIGH warning started flashing in odometer. Car stalled and unable to start. Cars been running fine since harmonic balancer replaced last week, then this happened. Anybody deal with oil high problem like this? Serious?

First thing I did when I got the car back from repair. It (oil) was maybe a hair over what it should be, but nothing that I thought needed attention. Drove car for a week with no issues.
So slightly high oil level would cause the car to stall & not start?

I was addressing the High Oil Level problem, not the stalling problem.
The oil level is supposed to be midway between the Min & Max lines on the dipstick. If you are above the MAX line, drain off 1/2 qt.
Are you able to start and run your truck at this time?

It's at the shop, maybe work on it today. He's a friend & usually doesn't work weekends, but as a favor, see if we can get it running. We'll suck out some oil. As of this writting, won't start. FYI..He didn't install the harmonic balancer, car broke down out of town and I had work done at a local shop. Part of the job was oil/filter change, first time since I've owned the truck someone other than me changed the oil. I'm afarid that may have been a mistake.
