ML320
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

cars. My name is Tara. I just recently bought a 2000 ML320 and a few days ago as I was at a stop light my check engine light came on. As I pressed on the gas the car would only go but 5mph. So I turned it off and restarted and it would not move. I repeated this and let it sit for 5 minutes and then it moved but again only go for about 5mph. I took it back to car lot and I pre paid $1,013.00. The mechanic said it gave the following codes: ECM: P0400 P0700 P0715 146 and 147 He said to replace the trans conductor sleeve, transconductor plate, filter with gasket and new filter. So he calls me today and says want to charge me another $216.00 for 4 solenoid. Hope i saying this right. I asked him if this would fix the problem. He said, its a 90% chance if not recommended replacing transmission. So I guess im taking a gamble and may still be out of $1300.00. Can anyone advise me what recommends. Im a woman and know nothing.

That's that's a normal problem with those transmission...the conductor plate it's like 300 to 400 box and it takes like 2 to 3 hr to replace
