2001 ML320 P0120
I had for a while BAS ESP on and off with no problem with engine running normal. but couple of days ago car start running sluggish with no acceleration. I checked the code and it was P0120. I changed the Throttle position sensor by firewall and also MAF sensor with no change. I even do the rest steps several time with no success. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.

Why did you replace the EGR when you do not have a code for it?
There are two codes for P0120. One for the Throttle Valve and one for the Throttle Potentiometer.
You need a scanner to read the proper codes.

thanks again for this important information. i'll keep it in my file definitely. I suspected the kickdown switch under gas pedals. removed it and test it. It failed. i pressed it multiple times, it passed the OHM meter test. I also removed the batteries connections for couple of days. Now it is working with no problem and I drove it for couple of blocks with no problem. I know it will fail again. i think it has rust inside. I will order the kickdown switch which is $28 from fcpeurop including tax and shipping cost.
