hi my name is ken, I own a 99 Mercedes ml430. I am having shifting problems in the cold weather, shifts fine in warm weather. transmission oil and filter was replaced. does anyone have any idea what might be causing the problem. driving for almost an hour shifting manually does eventually clear the problem. just really annoying....any help would be appreciated.

Did you use the correct recommended atf,and did you refill the same amount of transmission fluid that came out?
