Long time lurker but first time poster so please bear with me

I've got a 2010 ML350 and interested in getting the LED tail lights - do I need an upgraded SAM module like with the older cars?

no...they are plug and play as I see it.

I think you need to turn on the LED option in the rear SAM.

I installed it on my ml350 and it works pretty well. I'll see with this led option. I didn't know that. Thanks sharkster
