ML63 or ML350 CDI?

good day! contemplating on buying an '07 ML63 with 110+ k's over a '10 ML350 CDI with 70+ k's. both are in the 55k price.

what should i look for and which is better in the long run? I know the 63 is dearer to maintain, but is it worth it compared to the CDI?

any input would be appreciated. cheers!

ML 320 CDI
If you are rich? Then CDI. If you are oozing with cash and don't have anything else to spend on? Get the ML63.

Any mercedes costs $$ as they get older. Considering the ML63 is 8 years old. The repairs will be higher the next 5 years. For the same price - Ill go with the CDI. But make sure you do your homework and check repair history. Look for any oil leaks on the CDI.

No - most w164 I've seen here have no air suspension. The only option I like is the HID lighting. I can live w/o air suspension. It's a truck anyway.

cheers mate! i can live without air suspension as well, (ive got static suspension on my E, heard its less problems than bags) but seems like most of the ones ive seen here down under has air suspension. I will pay more attention to it.

Had a transmission issue that was covered under warranty , took them 10000 miles, a trans fluid and filter change and fuel filter change and calls to MB USA to get it resolved. Other than that all good. No air suspension. I did new rotors and ceramic pads, stops great, very low dust, all filters. I need to do brake fluid next. Next are tires, have to do run flats because no spare that year and Bluetec.

i guess I really have to look for static suspension.

if you have the choice now, would you still go for the bluetec or the 63?

Still go Bluetec. Longer engine life, i plan to try to run out to 200k miles. All my other cars and trucks get to about150k miles and you start having engine issues. From what i am hearing 200\300k miles is possible.
However if i got an offer for $35k i may part with it, wife likes AMG, something with some zipppp!!!
