320 CDI Not charging after using the jump terminal to run a motor
(Cross posed here because there are more MLs than GLs and hoping to get some help.)
Not charging after using the jump terminal to run a motor.
I ran a small winch motor from the jump terminal yesterday and today the GL320 CDI is not charging.
Doubt I trashed the alternator but could I have blown a fuse?
Maybe just a coincidence failure of the alternator?
Thoughts?
Anyone have any experience with failure to charge other than a bad alternator?

'Auto lights inoperative' ??? HELP
Got this error after getting a new alternator put in.
Mechanic thought it might be a remnant of low voltage, or a separate failure.
Any insights by anyone?
