after changing steering rack on ML350 the yellow triangle lite came on and the esp,abs and cruse are inop. Troubleshooting the speed sensors. Does anyone know what the speed sensor harness should ohms test at the connector across the two pins. Any other ideas why these are failing?

thanks

I had a similar problem (with a couple other errors) when my last battery when crazy on me.

There is a sensor in the steering column that measures the steering angle. The battery hiccup shorted the sensor and it was always 6 degrees off, which was enough to throw the system and trip all the safety functions.

A quick scan will let you know what went wrong. In my case, a new chip-sensor was needed. 1 labor hour and $650 later, I was out the door and everything has been fine ever since.

Hope that helps you narrow down the source of your issue.
