ML350 air inlet duct flex boot doesn't stay fully secured

I have 2 ml350's a 2014 and 2015 and both have this issue where the air inlet which consists of 2 pieces the duct and the flex piece that connects the bumper duct to the air box and this flex piece, sometimes called flex boot, comes undone from the air box while driving. I can get it all snapped back together when messing with it if I spend enough time on it but it eventually just comes apart on the inside near the engire again from either closing the hood or driving the car in general. Anybody else experience this or know of these have to be replaced routinely? Both ml's are still under the factory warranty.

Might be an issue w/ the clips. Sounds like something to let the dealer keep messing to start/document a paper trail.

Dealer showed me a 2016 gle 350 and it had same issue so seems to be a design flaw of the 276.95 350 engine. If the main air duct extended back another 5-10mm or angled further to the passenger side the flex pipe wouldn't be asked to do so much and would have a better chance of staying fully secured.
