Supension Trouble v12sel600
The self leveling system on a 1993 V12 SEL 600 has stiffened up, the steering wheel has also stiffened up, and it feels like something is loose in the back end when going over an uneven/bumpy road, I can feel every grove in the road. Can I get some information as to why this is happening and what I can do to fix it my self. I though about converting over to a stock shocks I called Bilstein H&R Supension was told they do not have any that will fit this type/model car they had the SL500, but it will not fit the SEL600 V12 1993 any information will be helpful thank you. dragstrip

could very well be your accumulators have leaked the nitrogen out. fairly cheap and easy.

do a search for accumulators. i believe there are 5 in the system at various points.

It would probably get more helpful responses if this wasn't posted in a completely unrelated sub-forum, lol. Just saying. Sorry I'm no help, I don't really know anything about how those older years were setup.

actually i'm referring to the new mercedes with abc system 2000-20014. your is probably different. go to the forum that is specifically for your car.
