65 AMG Cams On 600?

I have read somewhere that beside the displacement difference 65 AMG has bigger cams . Any thoughts on this Can 65 amg cams be installed on 600 motor and make some power gains?

Mechanically there doesn't seem to be any issue with this however there is one issue which would need to be checked. The cam on the 65 has a bigger lift on the intake only. Also, the dwell is increased (taken directly from WIS info on difference). The pistons on teh 65 are different than the 600, so I do not know whether there is any clearance issue here. But would seem like a decent upgrade and used cams are not that bad price wise.

One think that I should mention is the absolute need to buy the proper tool for timing this engine. Absolutely critical as the cam bearing marks do not appropriately indicate anything.

Tuning for this I also don't know?

Another thing worth thinking about is that even if it does work, it's probably not going to make a difference. Your power output is still going to be limited by the maximum mass flow rate of the compressor wheel on the turbos. Going to a more aggressive cam is probably not going to increase output with the stock 600 turbos. More likely, it will shift the powerband "up" allowing the engine to breathe better at higher RPMs but since the turbos already can't keep up the boost in the upper RPMs, there will be little to no change.
