Big Brake Kit for ML Series

Definitely put me down for a set of the OEM SS brake lines. Just a suggestion, putting a protective rubber hosing on the outside to protect from sand and dirt will greatly improve longevity. Anyway you can do that for the production version of the OEM lines? (E color black would be nice for the mods OEM look)
Thanks!

We are sorting out the connectors and accessories, and the kit shall be available in a few weeks.
Thank you for the suggestion and you are added to the order list.

Don't hold me to this, but from what I've seen, those are usually little protection pieces for areas that might rub against sharp edges.

Awesome, cannot wait to test the new lines as I need to do brake flush anyways with Castrol SRF. I would like to get mine with the smoke colored plastic sheath protective coating on my lines to make them look as close to OEM looking as possible.
Looking forward to see what you come up with!

We have made some progress in identifying the spindles for W166 so the brake kits can be made available.
Can you confirm your wheel size, and is it OE not not, if not what's OE size so we can decide what rotor size should be made to fit.

Honestly CCB are waaaayyy overkill. If you knew the insane level of braking force the 2-piece steel racing brake kit has, you would never even bother with carbon ceramics, it's a waste of money and the steels are better for the streets anyways.
With DWS tires I cannot even use more than 70% of my brakes bc I will lock up the wheels at any speed (even 100mph+). I would need to run a Michelin pilot Supersports or an R-compound tire to max out these brakes (which is a bit ridiculous for an SUV.)
If you want to get a full RacingBrake BBK, get the stock diameter 2-piece kit with matching calipers, it is the best kit money can buy for our Ml63 application.
P.S. FYI, the stock rear brakes on the W166 ML63 are actually smaller than on the W164 so the braking performance is actually worse on the newer ML63. If you upgrade the W166 to this RB BBK it's actually an even bigger upgrade than the W164 because the rear rotor size upgrade is significantly greater making for a much better balanced braking ratio from front/rear.

ML63 W166 has fixed piston calipers which is being offered as other ML W166 upgrade: $5150 - Come with one piece rotors as standard.
W164 on the other hand has floating type calipers (it's made of CI so much heavier than aluminum calipers and less responsive) than W166's aluminum caliper kit.
RB aluminum caliper kits will bring W164's brake performance up to date. With our two piece light weight rotors you can expect the performance will even exceed W166's.

You can fix that problem by buying the Racingbrake kit with larger calipers and problem solved

The stock rear rotors on the w164 are 20% larger than the w166. The reason the old 164 original braking distance was poor was because of the junk UHPs that came on it. With an equal tire on both the w164 will beat new one every time. The new one simply does not have as good of brakes upon it as the older one (they may have also done this to save weight and improve MPGs.

Fix what problem? You claimed the W164 had better braking.
And rears on the W164 are 20% larger than the W166? ANOTHER false statement. 13.6" vs 14.4". So more like 9% difference. Please do more research next time.

The braking surface is measure by the surface area of the braking annuls, not the diameter. The actual braking surface is actually more than 20% but it's a good rough estimate. Most of the surface area of the disc is at the very outer edge. Perfect example of his is 50% of the data stored on any DVD/CD disc is store on the outer half inch of the disc. Surface are is what matters most, you cannot simply take a percentage of the disc, that's not how this works.

I have an R class which is about the same as the ML suspension wise, and I've upgraded the brakes. I used brembo 8 piston front monoblocks w/4 piston rears, all 4 calipers originally from an S55 fitment, and I used the 4 rotors from the new w166 ml63 so 15.4" front 13.6" rear.
my question to you is #1, can you supply new braided lines that would fit my application? and #2, what would a set of front and rear 2 piece rotors cost? they would be equal to stock w166 ML63 fitment....
brake lines are something I'd like to do right away, rotors may be a few months down the road at this point... thanks for any info on these

Front brake kit for ML63 W166 is now up for purchase with 2-4 weeks delivery.
It will have our fixed 6-piston caliper with our light weight 390x36 two piece rotors - Ready for bolt on installation.

Here is a picture of RB 6-pot front calipers being shipped to an ML63 owner in Canada:
These calipers are designed to use stock rotors, so you can either purchase the complete kit (w/RB light weight 2pc rotors), or use them as caliper upgrade (replacing stock calipers), for those already owned RB two piece rotors - as progressive upgrade.

The kit will be designed to allow 2012+ owners retain the use of OE 6-piston caliper w/adapters.
For 07-11 owners, we will bundle the package with either W164 OE new calipers (supplied by Mercedes dealers), or RB 6-pot calipers.
At this time only Front CCM kit (394x36mm) will be offered in order to keep the cost low.
To complement the front, you can upgrade to our two piece rotor, or complete rear BBK (390mm)
Two piece stock replacement (360x26):

Rear BBK (390x30), Currently it's bundled with front kit, but the rear kit can be split at a special price for those who will purchase the front CCM kit:
