Widest 295/40/20 tire?
I've been running the Cont. DWS tires and have been very satisfied with them, but I can't help but think they are manufactured at the "smaller" end of tires of a 295/40/20 size, meaning a little less section width and definitely less tread width.
I'm due for new tires, and wondering if anyone has mounted the Pirelli PZero Rossos? Pirellis tend to max out sizes of a given fitment, so I'm wondering if they would appear beefier when mounted? Any other "wider" suggestions (while keeping it at 295/40)?

I am in the same boat. I like my DWS for my forgestar 10.5" width rims. But I think for my next set coming up soon I will be getting the 315/35/20 Continential DW instead of DWS. The DW are a much grippier tire and the 315 will look less stretched and fill out the wheel wells a but more for a more aggressive stance. They will also prevent curb rashes as well.
Also, as a bonus the 315 DW weigh exactly the same as the 295 DWS @ 35lbs. So basically you upgrade two full sizes in tire, along with a more aggressive grippy compound for NO penalty in weight. Win-win situation
