W166 Brake Rotor same sa W164?
We were asked by one 2012 ML63 owner to make front two piece rotors available, because dealer retail at $900/rotor.
We done some research (costing much less than buying a sample) and it seems to conclude that MB only changed the caliper to 6-piston (same as C63) from W164's floating caliper but the rotor kept unchanged
Does anyone have this knowledge can verify indeed the front rotors are the same for both W164 and W166.

I know they are identical size... and I doubt they changed the rotor hats offset as the w164 & 166 share so much of the same hardware. They also have the same bolt pattern as well obviously so in theory they should be perfect swap.
The rears are definitely 100% different bc of smaller rear diameter.
The insanely expensive stock OEM rotors are the reason I became the initial Guinea pig for developing a 2piece project in the first place, they are super rare and hard to get and extremely pricey. Made a lot more sense to find somebody to develop a 2piece set than replace with super heave & expensive (for 1 piece) rotors, luckily I found just the right company to do it
