'04 S430 4Matic
new user checking in with a w220

I caught the Best or nothing bug last year when I got a screaming deal on an S430 4matic carbon grey exterior on black interior. Love the car. But...Massive electronic nits are robbing me of my experience. Bought the beast at 94,000 kms now at 175 and wanna dump it. Seriously considering an ml63 amg 2008 w/o rear dvds, 25k with 135000 kms, BUT...it has an accident claim worth 18gs in 2010...drives great and is immaculate, but pulls to the right in spirirted highway driving....Some direction would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that my direction is clear with wanting an ml63. Massive power, massive loudness/presence and, being in Canada, the only amg I can afford with 4matic. Trust me ive weighes pros/cons. This is what i want. Closest thing was a cls-63, with rwd, not viable....

Welcome to MBWorld. Sorry to hear about the issues you had with your w220. The problem with flagship vehicles like that is they pack in a crap ton of electronic bells and whistles... which is great, but it's only one more thing that could break, especially at well over a decade. The ML63 is a great vehicle, but yeah, I'd be wary about that extensive accident damage as well. If I were you, you're on the right track with the ML63 for your driving habits and desires, but just keep looking for another accident free model. Maybe a G-Class if you dig that styling?
