Hello-

Just purchased 2016 S63 black and looking for the best ceramic coating, any prev experience from, I'm confused between CQuartz vs Ceramic Pro or Opti Coat.

Thanks.

I've only tried opti-coat personally and was not all that impressed. It looks and feels great when first applied, but my car was covered in swirl marks and fine scratches after a couple months. I still have to have it detailed regularly and I ended up wrapping the entire car in paint protection film.

For what purpose are you interested in these coatings?

Thank you for the advice, I did some research and I found that Ceramic pro is more durable especially when it comes to scratches, swirl marks its something that must be treated before applying any ceramic coat, I still didn't do it yet but will keep you posted

Thanks again .

I've worked on a couple cars that had ceramic pro done. Looked great at the time but I have no idea how it'll hold up long term. If your main concern is protecting the paint you should look into Xpel paint protection film. You can have the film done then get the ceramic pro coat for the best of both worlds.

I already did the Xpel film and I'll drop it in a week or two for the coat, all what I heard is good feedback on the ceramic pro and I know the car care center will stand behind their work, they are really good.

Cool. I'd be interested in hearing what you think about it after it's done. And maybe again a few months after that to see how it holds up.

I'll keep you posted , the main reason why I'm doing it is the scratches and the swirl marks , they will treat them then cover it for good. will see , thank you.
