Need Help! 2012 ML 350 Extended Warranty
As you may know from my previous post, I have got the used 2012 ML 350. It wasn't actually from the Mercedes Dealer but Nissan Dealer that had this car. Car is still under factory warranty.
Now how can I get the extended warranty? I called one of the Mercedes dealer and he was telling me that you have to get it certified and then that covers 7 years/100K miles. Then he said I can get extended warranty which will cost about 2800 to 3200 which will cover upto 100K.
What I am not sure is.. do I have to get it certified? How can I go about adding extended warranty to the car?

You bought from Nissan dealer - you are covered under the 4yr/50K mile Mercedes new car warranty (based on original date in service to original owner).
Since you are not the original owner - and it passed to a dealer - the MB will not extended the new car warranty.
Your "option" is to investigate 3rd party "warranties" - such as CNA, etc..

I found out from http://www.checkbook.org/auto/ExtendedService.cfm that Bethesda Mercedes Benz dealers are giving good pricing on extended warranty. Has anyone used them? I got this info from Fatwallet and people have said its genuine warranty.

Just got MB Extended Warranty from Jamie Ruis for 2011 GL450. He has the best price. At least 20% less than anyone else

Jamie does have good prices. Unfortunately I dragged my feet on deciding what to do with my '13 ML350BT and ran it out of the factory warranty. Went with Endurance with their exclusionary policy.
