GLE Factory Delivery in Alabama?

I found this press release from who knows when, but I was wondering if there is any information on whether or not we'll be able to pick up vehicles from the Tuscaloosa plant. My dealer said they weren't aware of an option for this, but it looks like there was at some point.

That press release is really old! Mike Jackson left MBUSA for Autonation 15 years ago. They dropped the plant delivery program a number of years ago. I was at the plant in 2013 and that question was asked - the answer was no.

The "no" answer is because the factory is a free trade zone. Delivery from the factory must go to a dealer.
