Need advice Transmission and trunk problem 02 S430
I have an 02 S430. Less than 100,000 miles. Wife had brother change oil drove a few miles transmission shuts down. It would drive a short distance then come out of gear. I let it cool down and it go. I changed transmission filter and fluid. Transmission now working. The skid plate wasn't on and wife went thru car was before problem. I've only driven about a mile or two. So, anything I can do to make sure my transmission is cured? Also trunk won't open after I had car towed to new house? Suggestions? Hard key will not work either.
