Touchpad Question
Hi. I have been used to the keypad on my 2008 S550. I am trying to figure out the Touchpad on my new '15 S550. Are there no numeric "keypad" functions?
In the past I've often used the keypad to enter voice mail passcodes, sometimes to select radio stations with poor reception, or to enter a Sirius station not on my favorites. Must I use the Command dial or voice?
The touchpad will sound the numbers as I try to write them. What if I don't want a passenger to hear or see my passcodes? I'm I missing something?

An interesting scenario. I cannot think of a perfect solution for that case with a touchpad, you could use the dial but then the passenger could see which digits you pressed for the code.
Hopefully someone from the forum can help you.

you can draw the number on the keypad. it works.
I have to tell you that the voice command to enter the number works perfectly if people in the car are quiet for a 10 seconds. much faster than the touch pad and safer also.
if you learn the commands you will love the voice commands for the phone and the nav.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the responses. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. It just seems a bit odd to me, guess I will get used to it.
