Just finally adding my R500 ... had it a couple of weeks now... she's very well optioned but otherwise stock... i've just completed my lighting refit... Lowbeams to HID5k, Highbeams Diamond Vision, City - AznOptics T10 COB, added the little DRL's into the fog spot but not sure about the color and finished off today with the LED star grill... i've got the parts for a reverse camera but haven't tackled that yet and want to refit all interior lights to LED but some of the fittings (ie dome) are just painful to access ...

The domes both front and rear have spring clips. I just use a flat screw driver to catch the lip to release them. For the front you have to remove the rain sensor cover first - squeeze at the top and pivot it down.

Thanks Marc I've read the threads and I've even got the wis dvd's (three mercs in the household now so I thought it was a cheap investment lol but haven't installed it yet. 70gb! Sheesh...)
I got as far as getting the rain sensor off but then I got stuck I'll try again when I got time to do it without rushing

There's four clips in total - one for each corner basically. The ones closest to the windshield are closely spaced, and the other two are spaced far apart - there's a cut away in the corners that you'll be able to see as you pry it away - this will indicate where the clips are.

gorgeous R tyres are just simply beefy ! And i love the whole blackened look.
am hunting around for 'stock' AMG 21"... no chance to blacken anything, my R is Irridium Silver lol... is your R on Airmatic and did you have to adjust any suspension either way to fit 22's?
thanks!

I have full airmatic also. I have order a lowering module. I am going to try the software way to lower it.
I have a set of 22" Renntech coming. Now i have to decide on tires size and brand. I was going to go with 285 35 22,

Got my 2010 r350 Bluetec about a month ago. Had winter tires and rims on it. Finally got the right tires and rims. AMG replica rims 20x9.5 with 255/55r20 Pirelli tires. Now the odometer actually shows the right speed and isn't off by 5%. I roadforce balanced them myself since I'm **** and the machine runs like a dream now. I bought this r-class so I would use my 2015 Escalade ESV less, and I tell you what. This Mercedes rides a ton smoother and more comfortable than the caddy. It has about 75k miles on it, but has a ton of life left in it. Nothing nicer than to buy a used vehicle that has been pampered by the previous owner.
