350 Rear Bumper Chrome Plate
Hi there..... my 350 didnt come with the protective chrome plate which site on the top of the outside rear bumper. I see other R's with this and it looks nice. Anyone know where I can get one online ?

You can always go to the parts department and order a replacement part. It will come with clips to be inserted into the bumper though, you will have to either drill into your bumper or take a drimmel tool and remove the clips from the chrome piece and use double sided tape to affix it to your bumper.

Yes, you can oder it from the MB parts dept and a few online retailers. The P/N is A 251 880 00 11. The part will need to be modified beyond removing the clips if you want it to fit correctly. Dremel tool required. If I had known this beforehand I probably wouldn't have bothered. The final product does look nice though, and covers up some scratches on my bumper sill.

Another bumper protection option
I didn't get the chrome bumper protector, but my dealer had this black/chrome striped stick on protector and I bought it and installed it this weekend. It was about $55.00 and easy to install -- it is basically one big sticker. Looks like it will do the job of protecting the bumper.
