[QUOTE=AsianR350;2959229]Here are the pics. of after market High Quality IR B/U Camera.
Camera can be viewed while driving.
I'm curious about your experience with the wiring. Where did you take off power for the camera and display? It appears that your switch takes power from the cig lighter. Is that also your source for the other camera and display?

LCD and camera power input came from cigarette w/ toggle switch to turn on and off. I did not want to permanently install to fuse block so I can remove the units anytime I want.
It works really good while driving at night. When my kids are watching movies or playing games on 10.2" LCD overhead mobil system, I get blind spot so the back up camera does help a lot.

Please share the brand names of your components. Your setup appears to be the easiest to duplicate of any I've seen so far. My service rep won't even reply to my inquiries regarding retrofitting the MB components. I'm at an age where it is no longer easy for me to turn my head as far as I need to in order to look over my shoulder when I back up. A backup camera is becoming a necessity for safe backing for me.

TReeves,
The camera is made by Sony 0 lux for night viewing (1/3 CCD better than CMOS camera)
I had installed 6 cameras for my brother in law and he gave me one out of the 9 cameras which is part of the home recording security system that he bought it on sale from Costco for $700.00
For the display, I bought on Ebay for less than $100.00.(CrimeStopper)
I did not want to drill hole in any place of the vehicle. There is a rubber cover hole at the bottom that leads to the spare time area.
I can remove the unit anytime I want.
You can look up on ebay and find other similar camera to mine.
The one I got is HQ camera weather proof that use in home security (indoor/outdoor). You might not have to solder wires if camera is connected to back up light to view for back up only.
My hook up allows me to view while backing up and driving forward (turn OFF and ON by toggle switch)
