That's a good question!
I would like to know the answer my own self. However, I have seen used wood pieces in part or the complete set in good condition on ebay. Also, try the UK and German ebay sites as well. They have tons of parts and accessories for the W(126) series. Oh, also try the benzworld.org forum under the W(126) section. There's a user member by the name "Talbir" who extremely knowledgable on W(126) models. In fact, you have to see his fully restored original era AMG/Stratton 500SEL. This car is by far one of the best W(126)'s on the planet. Its a work of Art! Hope this helps!

Dealer is by Far and away your best bet. Good refinisheres are Very hard to find and typically by the time you are all said and done new would have been about the same..

There is Heritage Refinishers in Calif.
I have talked with the guys there and they seem to know what they are talking about. Bruce BENZITCH |

Cost from dealership
Q. How much would a complete Zebrano wood kit cost at a dealer?

Ebay!!!!!!!!
Hey guys! I just received a set of Zebrano door wood pieces that I won from a bid on Ebay. They are literally like new with the mounts already on them. Hence, the distributor was Potomac German Auto in Frederick, Maryland. The price? You won't believe this! $42.45 including tax and shipping! Again, you can find some really nice finds if you are patient. So then, my restoration project is nearing is its close. In two weeks, my 420 will be repainted. Then, new 91' W(126) seats along with the wood door inserts will be installed.

W126 Dash
Re your question on the dashboard cracks.
Your best bet is to get a coverlay dash cover. Its molded plastic that that mirrors every curve in your dash. These never patch well. -David |
