Windows Won't Go Down

Hi all. On my 82 300SD only the passenger rear window reacts/goes down to the window switch. Nothing at all on the others. No humming, buzzing, nothing. I'm new to this problem so any ideas where to start? The fuses look fine so far. Thanks. -Michael

Michael, it is either a wire that is not connected, the switch, the motor, or the plastic slider in the window. If it was a short, the fuse would blow. Since you don't hear any noises, I would start to try and make sure there is power to the switch, and if so, swap the switch to see if the window will work.

I had to replace the plastic slider on mine, but I at least I could hear the motor and the window would go down as you drive.

Good luck!!
