oil pressure

When driving, oil pressure is at " 3". When idling, it used to go down a little, now it goes down between "2" and "1". As long as it is "3" while driving, should I not worry?

Thanks

When there is an opportunity, do check out the oil tubes (16 pieces on M119)by removing the cylinder head covers. Personally, I dreaded to do this! But, it was a saving grace 'cos I found 2 pieces on the right banks 1 piece on the left banks were blown out on its ends. Could not find those "disc". Could be floating in the engine oil pan somewhere! ;-))

With engine running, open the engine oil refill cap, and I can see the oil sloughing around. That is my telltale that am in good shape! Spare you the details of me hooking up a pressure gauge to verify the PSI rather than the BAR. A bar equal to 14.5 psi. But still when the engine is hot, its normal to see the bar drops down... So, I guess, like every one says, ...as long as the gauge spring up to 3 bars while driving, we are good! ;-))
...hope this calm you down. ;-))
