Nice! Hopefully mine won't fail soon, but good to know it's DIYable.

Just pull out the fuse and reinsert it.

How can I check if I have soft close on my front doors??
Just got a '00 S-500, and my rear doors, and trunk have soft close, but not the Driver, and Passanger doors....Im assuming that both front pumps are bad....

There is only one pump serving all soft close functions... but indeed there may be a leak somewhere from the pump towards the front doors. If it is that, it will become more expensive, though (replacing the lines vs. replacing the pump), mainly because of labor and testing.

hey S500 man. That link from 2 years ago for the PSE pump doesnt work for obvious reasons! I was looking for an aftermarket one or something. Do you remember the sellers name? Trying to find a chinese company or something that wont cost 500 bucks, and 165 sounds good to me. Dont want to go with used since who knows if that will go bad.
