Fr. Passanger Window wont work? 2000 S500
I have looked all over the forum and found so much usefull info.. but am still at a loss as to what my issue is.. Ok fr pass window wont go up or down. I have checked all fuses and all are good. All power options on pass door work, seats, headrest, lumbar, seat heaters.. when I try to open pass window from pass side nothong happens.. When I try to open window from drivers side window does not go down but I can hear the window switch in pass door click? I dont think it is the door mod. Possibly a bad window motor? I would appreciate any feedback I can get before taking to the mech. Thanks!

If you can hear the relay inside the door clicking when you hit the switch then most likely the motor has stopped working. I had the same thing happen to my drivers side motor recently. I watched
on removing the door panel. Very good video except on our older models the panel is fastened slightly differently but almost the same. See the attached files.
I could not get the door panel off for some reason it was stuck but I was able to move it out far enough to gain access to the motor to change it out. I bought my motor on ebay for around $35 shipped. It came out of a similar model to mine.
I highly recommend joining the free epc catalog on line here . It's free but they will ask for a credit card but it will not be charged. You can then look up vin specific parts for your car.
Post back your success story!
Good luck, Bob

Well I just put in new motor and no luck.. I can still hear the relay clicking but no window movement.. regulator seems to be ok. The wiring from the window switch hooks into the back of the large seat switch in the door pannel, Door control module.. I am lost at this point... Do I need a new door mod? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

I have the same problem here https://mbworld.org/forums/cl55-amg-...king-help.html. Keep in mind I changed the door control module and didn't make a difference, I still hear the clicks. If you figure out the issue please keep us posted!

Well I scanned it with SDS and the relay in module N69/2 is not functioning. Door control module has a bad relay.. Now my question is can i replace the relay inside the door control mod? Rather than buy a new/used one? Thoughts anyone... Thanks

I wonder if the diagnostic system can tell the difference between a faulty relay and a broken wire where they bend entering the door...

Finally got around to putting new DCM in today. Success! Window now works as well as all other functions of the DCM.. No need for SDS to program or initialize..
