2006 S430 Car shuts off in gear when key slightly nudged.
5 times now over 2 years, I have lifted my knee (I am tall) and accidentally nudged the key to the off position. Luckily, I was not on the highway, but this seems dangerous and a safety issue. I can see the answer is to (a) not do this, or (b) shift to Neutral and restart if it happens.
(The care will not restart in drive, it must go to Neutral first.)
This takes quick reflexes before the car slows down too much, and I'm wondering if there is any other way around this.
Is there anything possibly too sensitive about my ignition switch?
I seem to be able to barely touch it and it can turn away from the ON position. (I do not have keyless-go, just to be clear.)

Move seat and steering wheel back for more room away from dash. I suppose a custom fabricated console that moves the key switch higher would also work . Find a interior shop or car audio place that does custom fabrication. Like installing a custom tweeter
